One of the wisest men who ever lived was King Solomon. In his collection of wise sayings known as the book of Proverbs, he includes this key verse: "Watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life." Proverbs 4:23 The NLT puts it this way: "Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life."
What you place into your heart and mind is what will tend to direct your life; so make sure it is the word of God which is directing you on a daily basis.
