Who We Are

Church History

As a local church, committed to the authority of the word of God and the Lordship of Jesus Christ, we have historically given ourselves to a ministry of Bible teaching, expository preaching, evangelism, and missions.

As we move into the future, our commitments to these key elements remain firm.

Our church building was dedicated in 1906, three years before Huntington Beach was incorporated. It is the oldest church building still standing in this city.

In 1972 the building was purchased by a small group of faithful believers who had been meeting in a local school. This small group formed the initial core of what is today Community Bible Church.
